Century Park is proud to present a temporary exhibition from global artist Davis McCarty: "Prisms of Structure"

This temporary exhibition will run from October 24th to November 5th and is open to all tenants.

With Prisms of Structure, Davis McCarty transforms The Pavilion into an ephemeral experience where no two visits are the same. Experience his diversity of sculptures that augment the natural and artificial light moving throughout the space to examine the intersection of physical and fluid. As light moves through his iridescent panels, the colors transform and with every passing second, one unique visual experience flows instantly into the next through an infinite number of possible variations. This movement of light through large industrial structures calls attention to the undeniable truth that while we live in a physical world, all things are fluid and nothing is beyond the passing of time.

Davis McCarty's functionally-integrated architectural sculptures have been installed and exhibited at museums, iconic buildings, and art festivals around the globe including: the Wright Museum of Art, Sears Tower, Union Station, Zhou B Art Center, Burning Man, and Symbiosis. His work is held in the Illinois State Museum public collection.

His art has been featured in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Baltimore Sun, CBS News, Business Insider, Huffington Post, The Creators Project, My Modern Met, and Bored Panda.

One of seven children, Davis McCarty grew up in the Philippines and Thailand and assisted his parents founding schools in remote cities. In 2003 he returned to America to pursue fine art and graduated with a BFA from Beloit College.
