“The supreme reality of our time . . . is the vulnerability of this planet.”
— President John F. Kennedy, 1963
The vulnerability of our planet is at a critical level now more than ever. The sustainability of our planet - our capacity to endure - is our “supreme reality” and well within our control. On an individual, local or global scale we have the ability to live and work sustainably by returning human use of natural resources to within sustainable limits; fostering sustainable environmental, economic and social development and supporting Green business practices.
At Century Park, we have embarked upon the strategic implementation of numerous Sustainability or Green initiatives for the project, which will result in a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the project through programs that will reduce power consumption, increase water conservation as well as enhance and expand recycling.
CCTMO.org The Century City Transportation Management Organization (CCTMO) is a private sector non-profit organization formed to address, coordinate and help implement cost-effective transportation demand management programs to ease traffic congestion, meet clean air requirements and improve access to, from and within Century City.
